Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

An EPC is a certificate that demonstrates the energy rating of a building.  EPCs are mandatory for residential and commercial buildings and are applicable to new build construction as well as conversions.  They must be in place before Building Control can issue a completion notice.

As accredited energy assessors BBS Environmental Services are able to produce EPCs for both residential and commercial buildings as part of the SAP and SBEM calculations.
