Policy and Procedures
Provision of suitable policies and procedures to enable safe systems to be in place to control hazards, based on best practice and generally follow the HSE guidelines laid down in HS(G) 65.
Safe Systems of Work
Assisting or developing safe systems of work in conjunction with clients, including the provision of risk assessments and method statements.
Maintaining Systems
Reviews of current systems to ensure clients have the procedures in place to implement their measurement of their performance.
Audits
Assisting clients to audit and review their performance in complying with their management systems culminating in ‘traffic light’ style report.
Competent Person
Acting as the designated Competent Health and Safety Person for Company’s with no internal access to a health and safety advisor. The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires each employer to appoint one or more competent person to assist in health and safety management.
Fire Risk Assessment
Assisting non domestic Clients/tenants to fulfil their legal obligation under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to carrying out a fire risk assessment of the workplace; implement and maintain a fire management plan.
Contruction Safety
Accident Investigation
Prompt and thorough accident investigation service within 24 hours of an accident or immediately if there is a fatality or major accident. Detailed written report with recommendations for remedial action and advice on how to prevent a reoccurrence. Ensuring relevant notifications to the HSE as required under RIDDOR have been correctly submitted.
Site Audits / Inspections
Impartial auditing and inspection monitoring process culminating in a written report.
Operating and Maintenance Manuals (O&Ms)
Assisting clients to ensure good quality documentation is produced at the right time.
Health & Safety Files
Assisting Clients devise bespoke health and safety file.
Training
A core of on-site training courses that can be tailored to meet any specific requirements, ranging from general site risks such as manual handling to office based management courses. We also offer a training coordination service for clients who do not have access to internal support.
