An Approved Inspector is an alternative to Local Authority Building Control, providing plan and structural checking of designs under the Building Regulations and inspection of work in progress.

BBS Building Control is a Corporate Approved Inspector approved by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) to provide Building Control services on all types of building project.

We are required to re-apply for approval every five years and have to undergo a rigorous application process and interview. BBS Building Control has the required Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurances.
