Local authorities are increasingly requesting sustainability reports and environmental assessments at planning stage in order to justify compliance with the policies and guidance in place for that borough.

BBS Environmental Services has developed many reports for it clients which are included with their planning submissions, highlighting the existing situation and the environmental impact of the proposed construction and the renewable energy achievements.

In many cases the Government's renewable energy targets are stated as a planning condition and the most cost effective solutions can be advised as part of this process.
