Quality management Systems (QMS) can be invaluable in linking the standard of workmanship on site to payment of sub-contractors and trades. It also provides a consistent approach to standards and the recording of site quality checks.

BBS has developed site based QMS for several large developers and these have proved to be valuable in identifying serious site defects, design issues, workmanship errors and issues that are affecting quality across the companies developments.

The records produced will provide an invaluable tool in assessing trade and site performance and give an indication of how each development is performing. When linked to contractor payments Quality Management Systems allow a check and sign off procedure to be introduced which improves the inspection and completion of all site work packages.
