BBS Services

BBS Services provides core services to complement BBS Environmental and BBS Building Control. Drawing on the considerable knowledge and experience of our in-house specialists we can add invaluable enhancement to our other services.

Site Quality Auditing includes independent site inspection, reporting on construction quality, sub-contractor monitoring and defect identification, all of which can be linked to a Quality Management System where required.

Quality Management Systems are invaluable in linking the standard of workmanship on site to payment of sub-contractors and trades. They also provide a consistent approach for the recording of site quality checks. BBS develops a specific package to suit each client and their operation, not an ‘off the shelf’ system.

Key Stage Inspections are designed to check that each
trades work has been completed before allowing the next stage to continue.

Health & Safety Training is provided through our training partners and BBS can provide a range of on-site Health and Safety training courses from Manual Handling and Vehicle Banking to Confined Spaces and Scaffold Appreciation. We also provide training co-ordination for developer clients.

Defect/dispute resolutions can be an effective way of resolving situations that have become entrenched or require independent advice. Our qualified and highly experienced surveyors assess defects, liaise with purchasers where required, identify causes of defects and advise on remedial solutions.

CDM (Co-ordination Support and Risk Management) on construction projects, enables the client to have the greatest opportunity to encourage and achieve a change in culture, improve health and safety standards and reduce the unacceptable level of accidents in the industry.
